While similar in technology and appearance to e-cigarettes, Dr. Dabber aromatherapy diffusers vaporize essential oils and aromatic compounds at low temperatures.
Built with premium, non toxic materials, Dr. Dabber Distillate Cartridges also provide adjustable airflow to customize your aromatherapy experience. Dr. Dabber diffusers are intended to compliment an everyday lifestyle with a simple, high-quality and third-party tested aromatherapy option.
What are the ingredients in a Dr. Dabber Distillate Cartridge?
Dr. Dabber Distillate Cartridges are filled with U.S. Grown Broad Spectrum Hemp Distillate and a Signature Terpene Blend crafted by our friends at TrueTerpenes.
Difference Between Full Spectrum & Broad Spectrum Distillate vs Hemp Seed Oil?
Full-spectrum hemp distillates contain more than a single naturally occurring cannabinoid. Generally, these concentrates contain the entire spectrum of cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids that originate in the starting botanical material. This may include various levels of THCa, Δ9-THC, CBDa, CBD, CBC, CBG, CBN, THCV, Δ8-THC, CBGa & CBDV. The main concern for consumers when using full-spectrum hemp oil is the amount of residual THC found in the concentrate.
Our distillate is a bit different than your standard full-spectrum hemp oil. We spend additional time and resources to extract the full range of cannabinoids, while eliminating the residual THC that produces psychoactivity. This is also known as a broad spectrum distillate. It contains a specific mixture of naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids, but not everything from the original material.
Hemp seed oil is generally produced by cold pressing hemp seeds to extract the oil within. These hemp seed oils have the least amount of naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids out of all extractable hemp. This process requires a large amount of starting material to produce a very low potency/quality concentrate.
Will Hemp Oil Distillate Get You High?
NO! Cannabidiol (CBD), and its related cannabinoids (CBC, CBN, CBG), found naturally occurring in hemp do not produce psychoactive effects.
Will I Pass A Drug Test When Using A Distillate Cartridge?
Although we do our best to remove any and all THC from our products, we cannot guarantee the outcome that all consumers will pass a drug test, without triggering a false positive result.
Where Is The Hemp Sourced?
Our hemp is sourced from USDA certified farmers from across the United States, including New York, Oregon, Colorado, Nevada, and Washington. Kentucky and Tennessee coming soon. We only use US grown hemp, and will never import material from outside of the United States.
Is Hemp Oil Distillate Legal?
With the passing of the 2018 Farm Bill, Hemp has been removed from the Schedule 1 list of federally controlled substances and is now regulated by the USDA. Our products meet all hemp regulations and standards for the state of Nevada, where they are manufactured and filled.
Across the nation, states have various requirements for legal hemp processing, purchasing, and importation. With new legislation passing almost daily, our legal team is working tirelessly to ensure we are in compliance with all state and federal laws.
What States Do You Ship To?
We currently ship to 47 states. Unfortunately Idaho, South Dakota & Nebraska do not have hemp regulations in place that support interstate commerce.
Can You Ship Distillate Cartridges Internationally?
Yes! Most developed countries have legislation in place for regulating hemp products. Please check with your country's hemp laws before placing an order to be shipped overseas. If your country is blocked in the checkout process, it is likely due to your local hemp laws. Our customer support team is here to answer any questions about processing international orders.
Can I Travel With My Distillate Cartridge?
Although hemp is federally legal, every state/country has their own legislation in place for regulating/legalizing hemp products. Please do your research and seek legal counsel before traveling across state lines or borders with hemp products.
How Is Hemp Made Into Oil?
Cured hemp material consisting of stalks, stems, and flowers is processed into a fine grind. This ground hemp material is then washed with food-grade ethanol, to remove all cannabinoid, terpene and flavonoid compounds. After the wash is complete, the material is spun in a centrifuge to remove all of the ethanol from the plant material.
The ethanol solution is then transferred to a separator where any residual ethanol is removed from the cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids, creating a crude hemp oil. This crude oil must be refined even further before being processed into various consumer ready hemp products.
Through winterization and filtration, all unwanted materials like chlorophyll and any remaining plant matter is removed. Now the “clean” hemp oil is ready to start the next phase of its journey to your cartridge. Using short path distillation, we are able to capture only the natural cannabidiol (CBD) and alike, producing a THC free broad spectrum distillate.
How Is Hemp Different From Marijuana?
Hemp is genetically similar to cannabis, but the similarities end there. The biggest difference between hemp & cannabis, according to the 2018 Farm Bill, is the percentage of THC found in the plant material. Any hemp material containing less than .03% THC is federally recognized as industrial hemp.
This commodity has a large variety of uses from paper to textiles and even consumables. Hemp’s industrial method of production produced genetics that have large beautiful flowers, can grow in a variety of conditions, and have a fast seed-to-harvest cycle. These genetics are specifically crafted to meet federal regulations. Before reaching the consumer, the cured hemp’s cannabinoid content is verified using third-party testing to analyze overall THC levels.
What Is CBD?
CBD, also known as cannabidiol, is one of many non-psychoactive cannabinoids found naturally in the flowers, leaves and stems of the hemp plant.
What Is The Endocannabinoid System?
Everyone has an endocannabinoid system. It is a set of naturally synthesised molecules and enzymes that interact with our cannabinoid receptors throughout our bodies. These same receptors are similarly affected by the cannabinoids found naturally in hemp.
Our friends at Leafly have written a very comprehensive article breaking down how these and other cannabinoids interact with our CB1 & CB2 receptors.
How Much CBD Is In Each Distillate Cartridge?
Dr. Dabber Distillate Cartridges contain approximately 250mg of naturally occurring broad spectrum cannabinoids. This spectrum includes a ratio of CBD, CBN, CBG & CBC.
What Are Terpenes And Why Are They Found In Dr. Dabber Distillate Cartridges?
Terpenes are found naturally in almost every plant material including hemp. Terpenes, along with flavonoids, are responsible for the scent and taste of any essential oil. During our distillation process, the naturally occurring terpenes and flavonoids are removed from the raw distillate.
Since hemp is a commodity, each harvest/crop is different. Removing these raw compounds allows us to create a consistent and premium hemp distillate that is the dependable batch after batch. Our odorless and tasteless hemp distillate is then combined with our signature blend of botanically derived terpenes and flavonoids before being packaged to provide a more complete and aromatic experience when using.

Are All Distillate Cartridges Third-Party Tested?
All of our Distillate Cartridges are tested by a third-party laboratory. These testing results are available to consumers by scanning the QR code on the back of the packaging or entering the batch number online. We believe transparency is key, and are excited to share the quality of our personal aromatic diffusers. Each batch of hemp oil is tested for cannabinoid and terpene content, heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, and residual solvents. We never use fillers like PG, PEG, VG, MCT or Vitamin E Acetate in our distillate cartridges.

The aromatic experience can be personalized by either lowering or raising the power settings as well as adjusting the top airflow regulator. Adjusting this regulator effects the air to vapor ratio.
Make sure your battery is fully charged for best results.
Remove the cartridge from the battery and ensure there is no debris between the contact and the battery, then reattach. This will help with any faulty connections or misfires .
Make sure your cartridge is not threaded too tightly to the battery. About finger tight is recommended.
Clean all connection points between the cartridge and the battery with a cotton swab and ISO alcohol. Clean out any residue from the airflow regulator.
Check the firing pin on the battery for damage or residue.
Make sure your battery is powered on with 5 rapid clicks of the power button. The battery is on when the light illuminates while the power button is depressed.
Do Distillate Cartridges Expire?
Although distillate does not expire, it may begin to oxidize over a long period of time. After a year, the hemp oil may become darker in color and the flavor profile may be affected. We feel the best experience will be within the first 12 months of the testing date. If you find that your cartridge purchase is over 12 months old, please reach out to our Customer Support team.
What Materials Are Used In Manufacturing The Hardware? We only use the highest quality materials in the manufacturing of our cartridges. The metallic components of the cartridge include lead-free brass components or SAE 303 Stainless Steel. Soft seals are manufactured with food grade silicone. And the heating element is composed of a high purity alumina oxide that is wrapped in organic cotton.
Why Does My Distillate Cartridge Have A Prop 65 Warning?
You guessed it, California Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to the public if a consumer product has the potential to expose the customer to chemicals that can cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Although we stand by the quality of our materials and processes, we have a responsibility to inform consumers of any potential risk and identify why the Prop 65 Warning is on our packaging.
Certain terpenes like Myrcene, that are found naturally in the hemp and cannabis plant, are included on the California Prop 65 List. To represent an authentic aromatic terpene profile of the hemp plant we think it is a crucial part of the blends. For this same reason, cannabis and cannabis related products in california include this warning.
