Light Knowledge Base
The Dr. Dabber Light is a compact counterpart to the Dr. Dabber Ghost. Featuring the same award-winning low-heat Titanium Technology incorporated into a slimmer, stealthier design with high-quality components in a tiny package. The Light is big on flavor yet small enough to have on hand wherever you go.
The Basics
All of our electronic units come with lithium-ion batteries. The Light comes with a 5 click on/off safety feature to ensure your battery is only on when you want it to be. This is most convenient for users who may carry their pen in a pocket or purse.
Click the battery button 5 times to turn on/off the battery power. The battery will blink once the unit has properly been turned on or off. Press and hold the button to initiate a heat with the atomizer, the light should remain on during this process and blink when the cutoff has been reached. A safety cutoff is employed to avoid overheating or burning and is about 15 seconds.
The Light battery is compatible with most 510 threaded oil cartridges. Remove the atomizer from the battery to use with 510 carts.
How to load and use your pen
Light User Guide
Load your concentrates directly on the heating coil for best results. Please be aware of how much product you are loading in the atomizer. We recommend using about a rice sized amount at a time as overloading will restrict airflow and in turn, produce less vapor.
1. Pull mouthpiece and airflow regulator sleeve upwards to separate it from the atomizer.
2. Prepare your product and load directly on to the heating coil. Be careful not to damage the fragile coils when loading.
3. Once your product is loaded, reconnect airflow regulator and mouthpiece to atomizer.
4. Turn battery on, depress button, and take long, slow drags for best results. Enjoy vapor!
Do not dry burn atomizers. This will help extend the life and flavor of these parts, there should always be oil on the coils while vaporizing. Atomizers are not covered under warranty as they are disposable components and will need to be replaced over time. We recommend between 2-4 months depending on usage. Your atomizers will begin to season overtime, allowing them to produce more vapor with less concentrates.
Changing your atomizer is simply just another part of successful vape pen care. Here are some signs that your coil may need to be changed:
-It is visually dark, crusted or damaged.
-The coil is pulled out.
-The ceramic dish is cracked or broken
-You are experiencing a “burnt” taste, even after thoroughly cleaning your device.
-Your atomizer is having leakage issues.
-You are experiencing decreased vapor production.
Charging The Battery
We recommend charging your device fully before initial use. You will know when your battery needs to be charged when it will not turn on and instead blinks 5 times and shuts off. Charging your Light is fairly easy, just remove the atomizer and mouthpiece from the battery, plug your charger into a USB (or AC Adapter for faster charge), and connect the battery to the charger by meeting the top 510 threads from the battery to the 510 threads on the USB charger.
The light on the charger will turn red, indicating it is charging and when the device is fully charged, the light on the charger will turn green. The battery lasts for approximately 30 heating cycles and takes 1-2 hours to charge. Try not to use force, as this may depress the connection pin on the battery and caused an error, when attaching an atomizer or attempting to charge.
Try not to let your battery die out completely to extend the life of the battery. Please remove the charging cord as soon as the unit is fully charged, as the cord will not stop the trickle-down effect, meaning it will slowly start to lose power over time after a full charge, while plugged in. You can always unplug and plug the unit back in to check if it needs a few more minutes for a full charge.
Keeping It Clean
Remember to keep your device clean for long-term usage and overall performance. We recommend using a cotton swab or paper towel dipped in isopropyl alcohol of 91% or higher to clean any residue in and around the battery, charger, atomizers, and mouthpiece. Below are more detailed instructions for cleaning the atomizers. Please DO NOT use a torch with any of your components.
1. Unscrew parts (atomizer, airflow regulator, mouthpiece) from the battery.
2. Pour some isopropyl alcohol into a small glass
3. Drop your airflow regulator and mouthpiece into the isopropyl alcohol, ensuring it is completely submerged.
4. Leave parts in the alcohol for no more than 10-15 minutes.
5. You can agitate the alcohol to loosen up any stubborn residue.
6. Remove from isopropyl alcohol and let air dry completely for 1-2 hours.
7. Screw the atomizer back onto the battery and load product again.
*You may also soak atomizers in isopropyl alcohol, but we do not recommend doing this very often as the alcohol may degrade these parts.*
**Do NOT leave airflow regulator and atomizers in alcohol over the recommended time frame. This may damage the finish on these parts. Do NOT rinse atomizers in water and make sure they are completely dry of alcohol before use.**

Troubleshooting
The Light will blink 3 times to indicate a faulty connection with the atomizer or if the atomizer has ceased to function.
Make sure your battery is fully charged for best results.
Remove the atomizer from the battery and ensure there is no debris between the contact and the battery, then reattach. This will help with any faulty connections or misfires.
Make sure your atomizer is not threaded too tightly to the battery. About finger tight is recommended.
Clean all connection points between the atomizer and the battery with a cotton swab and ISO alcohol. Clean out any residue from the airflow holes on the atomizer.
Check the firing pin on the battery for damage or residue.
Make sure your battery is powered on with 5 rapid clicks of the power button. The battery is on when the light illuminates while the power button is depressed.
Replace atomizer and test functionality.
